The ultimate Victorian, Gothic Tuscan No. 2 catches the eye with its severe points at top and bottom in addition to the medial spurs. It's the lesser known cousin of Gothic Tuscan Pointed (think "Ironwood"), yet this lack of popularity only increases its subtle appeal.
Several manufacturers made a version of it, and VWT's is a studied amalgmation of them. This incarnation most resembles the Wm. H. Page version found in its 1888 specimen. The patterns were drawn by James Grieshaber.
