Condensed and solid. When Bill bought the American Wood Type collection, with it came many boxes of incomplete fonts. While visiting VWT, Amos Paul Kennedy, Jr., fell in love with a box of Gothic 540 characters, so Bill gave him the box. Fast forward a few years and imagine this: Amos wrote looking for some missing characters. Using old characters from American Wood Type, Derek digitally drew the character set for VWT patterns to feed our hungry pantograph.
