A revival face drawn by David Wolske for Virgin Wood Type. We fell in love with it while rummaging through piles of junk in the basement at the Genesee Center for the Arts in Rochester, NY. After sorting through a box full of ratty type, we came across about 20 characters of Aldine. After pitching the idea to David, he decided to pursue redrawing it. The attention to detail given to the new letterforms is especially apparent when considering the added glyphs; a reverse star and arrow that use the counter from the V.
