Antique Bold Condensed is now available for order from 6 line to 15 line in end grain maple. Sizes above 15 line will be side grain maple.
The patterns are cut and I am working on a proofing version in 6 line now.
The original patterns are 28 pica side grain maple blocks with S. & B. Co stamped on the capital and lowercase A. As American Wood Type was an American distributor for the Stephenson & Blake company in england.
The intermediate patterns were cut into birch plywood using both sides of the wood. Here are a few of the 3″ intermediate patterns.
